Breeder & Seller Agreement

Effective Date: May 11, 2026

"By registering, listing, or selling pets through Pet Store, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Agreement. This document constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Pet Store."

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Pet Store. This Breeder & Seller Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Platform as a provider of pets or related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent that you have the authority to enter into this Agreement.

2. Seller Eligibility & Verification

To maintain the safety and quality of our marketplace, all Sellers must:

Be at least 18 years old.
Possess valid government-issued identification recognized in your country (national ID, passport, or equivalent).
Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date personal and business information.

Required Documentation:

National ID or Passport copies.
Valid breeding permits or licenses (where applicable).
Stamped veterinary records and vaccination certificates.
Proof of ownership or legal right to sell.

3. Standards of Care & Animal Welfare

Sellers represent and warrant that all pets listed:

Are treated in accordance with applicable animal welfare laws in your jurisdiction.
Have received appropriate veterinary care, including mandatory vaccinations.
Are housed in clean, safe, and humane conditions.

Prohibited Breeding:

Breeding practices that intentionally result in genetic defects or poor health outcomes are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate permanent expulsion.

4. Listings & Descriptions

Accuracy: All listings must include current, non-stock photos of the actual pet for sale. Breed, age, health status, and temperament must be described truthfully.

Ownership: You must be the legal owner or authorized breeder of any pet listed. Selling stolen pets or pets obtained through illegal trade is a criminal offense and will be reported to the appropriate authorities in your jurisdiction.

5. Platform Fees & Commissions

Commission: A service fee of 7% applies to successful transactions completed through the Platform. This fee is automatically deducted from the final sale price.

Bypassing Fees: Attempting to complete transactions off-platform to avoid fees is a violation of this agreement and may lead to account termination.

6. Limitation of Liability

Pet Store is an online marketplace. We do not own, breed, inspect, or guarantee any pet listed by independent sellers. All transactions are conducted at the users' own risk.

7. Disputes & Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable where Pet Store operates your account, unless mandatory consumer or local laws in your country require otherwise. Disputes should first be raised through Pet Store support.
